One demoralizing thing about writing is that usually the only failure we see is our own. If you look at other people, you only see their best, most polished pieces. This can create the impression that you’re the only one struggling through scripts, abandoning ideas, or giving up halfway through a script. But, of course, that’s not true. Everyone’s failing their way toward something worth sharing.
I looked through my files for scripts that I just gave up on — ones that I decided I didn’t like and decided not to waste any more time on improving them. And today I’m sharing three of those with you.
